The Prince George’s County CPIP assists shopping center and main street retail space owners with exterior façade, place making, lighting and major building systems improvements that enhance retail competitiveness and viability. It requires a 50% match for a maximum grant of $350,000 for $700,000 or more in total project costs.


Green Meadows Shopping Center

The CDC worked with the property owners and managers to secure $350,000 in grant funding for improvements at the Green Meadows Shopping Center in Chillum. The project included façade/landscaping improvements and the installation of an on premise pocket park.
